About Us

The Crazy Quilters Quilt Guild meets the first Tuesday of every month (except November, election night) at the Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit,
3461 S. Cedar Crest Boulevard, Emmaus, Pennsylvania 18049  Directions

Our meetings include light refreshments made by our members.    We are told that our "food is the best at any meeting".

The meeting spotlights a speaker or activity and is followed by our business portion then a "show and tell" session (another great opportunity to pick up something new and make suggestions). It's better than being at a quilt show!

Our programs feature nationally-known quilters, local quilters, quilt teachers, or other speakers on topics of interest relating to quilting.  We offer related workshops throughout the year.

We also boast our lending library which consists of over 400 books pertaining to our passion. These books are available every meeting for browsing and for member borrowing.

Our Guild is involved in a variety of community service projects.  We also design a raffle quilt bi-annually. Our members are encouraged to participate in all community service functions. The Crazy Quilters' Quilt Guild has been recognized for our extensive public undertakings.

We always welcome new members and you are invited to join our group. The annual dues are payable in September - (pro-rated if you join late in the program year) and we currently have over 100 active members ranging from beginner to expert level quilters.

This is a great time to improve a technique, learn a new style, and even inspire members to create a new project. It's also a time to let everyone know about a new learned experience.

Want to join?

Membership has its benefits -  Members of our Guild:

      •  Enjoy a discount at various fabric stores – JoAnn’s, SewBatik, Burkholders, Olde City Quilts, and In Stitches.
      •  Enjoy our extensive library available for members to browse and to check out quilting books covering a variety of subjects, and techniques.
      • Participate in our ‘Sit n’ Sew’ Saturdays.
      •  Nationally known speakers and workshops.

Members also support the Guild by:

      • Purchase or sale of $30.00 of raffle tickets, every other year.
      • Contributing to your choice of Community Service projects.
      • Participating in the design, and/or sewing of our Raffle Quilt.
      • Occasionally assist with committees and/or serve as an officer.

Just open and fill out the attached membership application and mail with your dues to: CQQG  P.O. Box 527, Whitehall, PA 18052-5424.

Better yet, come to a meeting and bring the application with you. Come for the fun! Come for the inspiration! Come for that much needed "night out ”.

Also, included here, for your convenience, is a name tag directions link.  Help us get to know you, wear your name tag, and qualify for a monthly meeting drawing for a Crazy Quilters prize.

There's plenty of lighted parking and easy access to the building for everyone.

We’d love to see you at our next meeting!
